Kyla Rae

She is a freelance artist who owns and operates her art studio, Kyla Rae Design, in Portland, Oregon. Kyla works traditionally in watercolor and pen to create her natural science-style illustrations. Her work explores the relationship and interconnectedness between humans and animals. She also documents the cyclical nature of our vanishing ecosystems. All work is created and printed locally. When she is not in the studio she can be found at art markets, in her garden, or walking her dog.
