This fine art abstract piece was created using wax pencil, wax pastel, acrylic paint and graphite on high quality 184 lb mixed media paper. Restrict technique (stencils and tape) was used for the clean line shapes. Blending, smudging and sgrafitto (stripping back layers) and embossing was used for textural variation. This piece was made after a trip to the Oregon coast where it had rained and stormed and shone with bright sun every day.
