2021

Robin Kerr was born and raised in New Zealand, and now lives in NE Portland Oregon. Until recently her sold work has been predominantly illustrations for children’s books, note-cards and public awareness campaigns. Two local Portland stores carry her cards and prints.

Over the last several months she has focused more on her fine art, producing work that is bold, colorful, unapologetically abstract, full of textured geometric shapes and patterns. Her medium is typically some combination of acrylic paint, textiles, ink, soft-core pencil, pastel and anything else that appeals at the time. She works out of a small studio at the back of her place, created out of half of an old garage. Her pieces are the result of everyday things seen, heard and experienced.

At this early stage, she has had two large pieces commissioned, sold another, and has her work available through TriCera.net (on-line) by invitation, as well as though her own website, FaceBook, Instagram, and Etsy shops. She is just beginning to reach out to local galleri
