Artwork title: “Tiw’a the Deer”

Medium: Paint pen and colored pencil on paper

Dimensions: 8 x 7

Each artwork is accompanied by its own narrative  //  "One of the few gods who roamed the heavens and came down to Earth, Tiw’a is most often associated with Spring, thus he is depicted with the ancient Bynsch symbol for ‘growth’ (beneath his left leg). His antlers are at times festooned with either stars or clusters of nebulae resembling enormous blossoms. This simple cave painting shows him associating with a tribe of Men, and the horizontal marking at his midsection indicates a longstanding alliance with a human tribe. "
