Artwork title: “Wasp”
Medium: Colored pencil on paper
Dimensions: 25 x 19
Each artwork is accompanied by its own narrative // "The wasp people of the Vexed Mists and Moul Island Marshes are social creatures and expert architects, creating elaborate inverted hives. Preferring denuded branches in the mangroves, they peep out from the entrances of their upside down cities. The juvenile wasps of the Iy’lipu tribe are exceptionally curious about passersby, but the mature adults of this species tend to be highly territorial, and making eye contact with them can lead to an altercation.
